The session provided a comprehensive state of the art review of new simulation trends (FEM, CFX, etc.) combining, as always according to the NAFEMS philosophy, independent viewpoints and visions from industry, research groups and commercial software developers.

The seminar concluded with a round table discussion enabling both presenters and participants to exchange views and identify new challenges for the future.

This has been, as usual, a meeting point for those using simulation, or those having the responsibility of developing optimized solutions based on the use of new simulation tools.

The seminar was open to NAFEMS members as well as anyone interested in simulation and the benefits obtained by using simulation to improve their competitiveness.
